Every night, a logistics team manually triaged carrier exceptions — delays, missed pickups, address failures — across a dozen systems. We built a fleet of tool-using agents on a custom MCP layer that work the overnight desk: they investigate each exception, take the safe actions themselves, and escalate the genuinely hard calls to a human in the morning with full context.
